The compact and lightweight hub features a cylindrical design in muted colors, allowing it to blend with any décor. Equipped with an AI speaker, it facilitates interactions with LG’s AI voice assistant and supports a range of audio content. The ThinQ ON is powered by a high-performance AI chipset, ensuring scalability for future enhancements.
The hub’s generative AI capabilities allow it to understand the context of conversations and tailor experiences based on user preferences. It also autonomously monitors the smart home ecosystem, notifying users when tasks are completed or if issues arise. Users can easily check or change appliance settings using voice commands and configure routines to automate operations.
Certified by Matter, the ThinQ ON supports various network connectivity options, including Wi-Fi and Thread, ensuring easy setup and compatibility with a wide range of devices. LG plans to expand its open platform by incorporating more brands and devices, following its recent acquisition of smart home platform company Athom.
